These
are 1-amp decoders with sound
and front and rear lighting with HyperLight
effects. Once installed, these units provide Chuff, Bell, Whistle,
and Airpump sounds. The sounds provided by these sound units are digital playback of recordings from real locos. But they are not just simple playback loops. They are interactive and will respond to you, the engineer, just like a real loco. The airpumps change speed as pressure is built and used. The Whistle reacts directly to your control of the whistle button, allowing you to whistle long or short.. LC, in the decoder model number, stands for Low Cost. As such, they do not have some of the background sounds that other sound decoders have. |
