As you can see by the photo of
the TU110, these enclosures are comprised of four plastic parts you
cut from a sprue. The parts are, listed from left to right: Mounting
Flange (optional), Chamber, Extension, and End Plate. These parts make
it easy to make an enclosure of two different depths. While one could
make the enclosure any desired depth, that would require cutting one
of the parts and gluing it back together. The only differences between
sizes are the diameter and depth. Following is a list of measurements: |

* Measurements were taken with a micrometer and rounded to the nearest hundredth of an inch. The Standard Height includes the thickness of the End Plate and Chamber (Mounting Flange not included). The Extended Height includes everything but the Mounting Flange. If the Mounting Flange is used it will add about 0.015" to the overall height. Inside enclosure depth will be about 0.1" less than the height, sans Mounting Flange. "Diameter" does not specify the diameter of the enclosure but instead specifies the size of the speaker the enclosure is designed for. For example, the 1/2" speaker is actually a little larger than 1/2" and the 1/2" enclosure is designed to fit that speaker |
