If you can't
find the engine sound for the exact loco you have, we suggest you
listen to the whistles and select the one that comes closest to what
you think it should sound like. When it comes to steam, the chuffs
and bells will all pretty much sound alike to anyone but an aficionado.
However, there are some differences, such as the Shay and articulateds.
So, if choosing a sound unit for an articulated, select either the
UP Challenger or N&W Class A. If choosing for a loco with a quick
staccato sound, select the 3-Truck Shay. If you want the peanut whistle,
select the British Tank engine. For all others, select the whistle
you prefer. |
