Peco's Code 83 track still has the design and manufacturing precision, and the over-center spring for positive throw. The big news with this track is that it is fully Americanized, with American tie spacing and frog numbering. The frog itself has also been improved, eliminating any possibility that even the widest of wheel treads can short the opposite frog rail. Further, the fine scale spike detail is phenomenal, as seen in the photo below.

The first turnouts released are the #5 and #6, along with a #6 (10-degree) crossing. The next turnout to be released is the #8, then single and double slips, wyes, and 3-way turnouts.
