This solder station has electronic temperature control, from 374° to 896° Fahrenheit, based upon the setting you dial in with the knob. With 50 watts of heat, and temperature control, it's capable of soldering the most delicate decoder wires, or track feeders to rail and heavy track power bus wires. It even has a ground lug on the back to connect anti-static gear.
