For
years we've advocated people using a buzzer when working on track power.
Since it's a bit of a hassle to get all the parts to make one, many
people just didn't do it - but were later sorry they didn't.
The LT-BUZ is fully assembled - just
add a 9V battery and it's ready to go. Clip it to the track or track
power bus with the alligator clips, and it sounds out if you connect
a track feeder to the wrong bus wire.
It requires that you have no locos,
or anything else that can draw power, on the track, and at least one
rail output of your DCC system should be disconnected from the track
bus. |
