This
device uses four photocells (provided) to know when a train approaches,
which direction it's going, and when it's gone. It has outputs to operate
grade crossing gates, blink crossbuck lights, and operate an ITTC grade
crossing bell sound unit. Multiple GCPs can be cascaded together for
proper multiple track operation. Features include adjustable gate-motor
speed and realistic flashing light fading on and off.
The GCP requires
about 90 mA (LEDs) to 130 mA (bulb-based signals) at 7 to 16 volts,
AC or DC.
It comes with
four photocells for train detection of one track. It does NOT come with
crossbuck signals, gates, or bell sound unit. |
