This decoder is identical to the DN163K0a except that it has only one Golden White LED for the headlight while the DN163K0a also has one for the rear light. Since they are the same price, here-s a tip...

For the F3B units, get the DN163K0a instead of the DN163K0b. They're the same price, and since you have to snip the LED(s) off anyway, you might just as well get two of these 3mm Golden White LEDs to use with something else.

Likewise, if you're good at modifications, get the DN163K0a for the F3A unit also. Snip the rear LED off for use with something else, and shorten the front LED to fit the F unit. This can be done easily by simply cutting the leads in the middle, then overlapping them to solder back together - you don't have to un-solder them from the board. Just be careful that you don't turn the LED around to solder the leads back in the opposite positions - it won't work that way.
