The DB150 command station/booster
can be used as a slave booster with any of Digitrax's DCC systems
to add more power. It can also be used as an auto-reverser. However,
the PM42 can also be used as
an auto-reverser for much less money.
Besides the scale switch, the
DB150 has a voltage trim pot inside to facilitate matching voltages
between it and other boosters. This insures there will be no loco
speed up/slow down when crossing power district gaps - providing you
have adequate wiring.
There is no battery inside to
maintain memory when power is turned off. Instead, memory is kept
in EEPROM - a form of memory that maintains memory when power is turned
off.
This Booster requires a power
supply with a minimum of five amps.
