This
board has four block detectors, four DS54 outputs, and four local
outputs. The DS54 outputs are connected to four of a DS54's local
inputs, and the four local outputs can operate low-current LEDs or
other transistor-driven devices. Typically, 10K ohms will trigger
block occupancy.
Once connected to a DS54,
the DS54 can be programmed to send block detection information via
LocoNet, throw or close turnouts, and/or send other LocoNet messages.
This detector can also be
used for direct input to a computer with the proper I/O interface
card - which one depends on your computer and what's available at
your computer store. |
