With your Windows-compatible computer
interfaced to Digitrax's LocoNet with an MS100, WinLok turns your computer
into a sophisticated throttle capable of controlling many trains at
one time. If using a Chief, it can also program locos via the Chief's
programming track.
DigiToys posts updates for WinLok
users to download free of charge. This keeps your software up to date
as new features become available, such as Transponding
support.
Interfacing your computer to LocoNet
requires an MS100. The MS100 plugs
directly into your computer's DB25 serial port (COM1 or COM2). The MS100
is then connected to LocoNet via a standard six-wire phone cable.
If your computer's available serial
port is a DB9, then you'll need an adapter.
There are two genders of adapters that will plug on - only one will
work: the one that will provide the same pin-out as if your serial port
were a DB25. We offer two styles of the type that works: the CPA
(2 inches long) and the CPJ
(1 foot long. |
