This fast
clock connects to LocoNet and coordinates time with fast clocks in DT100,
DT300 and DT400 throttles.
The display numbers are 3/4" high
but the glow takes it to about 7/8". It's so bright that it is
very easy to see, even from across the room. Even so, you can connect
as many of these clocks into the LocoNet as you need.
As you may or may not know, the fast
clocks built into DT100s, DT300s and DT400s are not accurate. Not only
that, it speeds up and slows down - according to something I haven't
figured out yet. But this fast clock does keep accurate time, and can
be set to be the master of them all - therefore, providing accurate
fast clock time for the entire network.
Even with this clock set as the master,
you can still set clock time and speed from any DT100, DT300 or DT400.
Set the clock and rate as you normally would, and the fast clock will
assume that time and rate, while continuing to be the master, and keeping
the time "accurately".
The clock comes with a power supply
and LocoNet cable. The face is 5-7/8" wide by 2-7/8" high.
The board and parts behind the face are slightly smaller to allow for
cutting a hole and mounting it flush. |
